Kodiaks women’s basketball team suffers sudden loss costing them nationals

After setting the bar high for themselves this season, the Kodiaks women’s basketball team lost their first game this year during provincials last weekend in Vermillion. Tawnya Plain Eagle sat down with the team to find out what it is like to miss out of this year’s nationals.

The Kodiaks played Lake land Rustlers for the Bronze title. Another team that had been sitting at number one all season. The team took home the win 91-61 leaving them in third place.
