A serious incident has happened on the Lethbridge College 30th Avenue residence hall.

At approximately 1:45 this afternoon Emergency Responders and Lethbridge Police were dispatched to the location after a report of an assault.

Upon arrival, it appeared to be a party happening at residence hall.

EMT’s escorted a man out with what appeared to be facial injuries.

Three other injuries had been reported with two in critical condition, including a stabbing victim.

Witnesses weren’t completely aware of what was going on at the party.

“Everything just happened so fast, we were having a great party and then all of a sudden this is happening. No idea what happened,” said Austin Klym, one of the party goers.

The ambulance and EMT service returned to the scene twice to help carry out the injured and transport them to hospital.

Upon further inspection of the party, bloodied napkins along with blood droplets were strewn across the floor.

Unidentifiable substances were also found around the party, prompting investigators to send them to a lab to find out more.

“I’m looking into an unknown substance… I have to send it away to a lab to have it identified,” said Constable Moore.

The extent of the injuries of the victims are currently unknown.

“The person believed to be responsible for at least one of the injuries had fled the scene and the investigation is continuing,” said Sgt. Mcivor.

The investigation will be continuing into the weekend.
