Start of new semester for students

The start of a new semester can be daunting for many new students coming to Lethbridge College.

Whether it’s getting books, student ID’s or finding classes, these students need help accomplishing these things before they are truly ready to begin their college experience.

That is why the College is ready to step in and help these students with all of their needs.

Michael Bartz, a Student Experience Specialist at Lethbridge College, says by setting up a kiosk in the centre core, he is able to help new students find the things they need to have a successful semester.

“Maybe they can’t find their classrooms, getting their student ID’s, maybe they need help getting into the Wi-Fi and things like that. So just figuring out what they need in the first week we’re here to assist them with that.”

By helping students with these things, Bartz is able to ensure they have the best experience possible when coming to the college.
