One local organization is taking steps to further diversity and strengthen Lethbridge. One objective of the Lethbridge Islamic Centre is to improve the bonds between Muslims and unite Lethbridge. One of the ways that the centre plans on doing so is by promoting a better understanding of Islam among non-Muslims through educational and cultural activities. The Islamic Centre offers Arabic classes for children on Saturdays.
