The current unemployment rates have worried those who travel to Alberta as much as those born here, reports Halen Kooper. Travelling to Alberta in recent months, Rowan James began the process of acquiring a workers visa. Although he is not particularly interested in working in the oil fields, he is concerned about what jobs will be available when his visa is granted. James says all he can do going forward is apply where he can and hope for the best.
