The Lethbridge College Career Conference is a month away and planning has already begun with people from around the college gathering information and painting a picture in their heads of what this event is going to look like.
“The planning is going very well so far,” said Zeeta Duffety, administrative assistant.
“There have been no struggles that we had to worry about.”
The gym is going to be filled with a variety of career opportunities and this year there is going to be a new event added to the conference.
“There is going to be a new event called the Interprofessional Simulation event,” said Duffety.
The new event will include over 200 staff and students around the campus working together in a scenario involving criminal behaviour.
The career conference allows you to meet employers who hire Lethbridge College grads, investigate program and transfer options and chat with The Works about your future plans.
The event is scheduled to happen on Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
