Christmas Tree Festival

The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation kicked off the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Festival.

The free event was an evening proudly geared towards families in the community, the spirit

of the holidays and to have a little fun. Even Santa made a visit from the North Pole to show

his support.

“The public can come and view the trees, have a cup of cocoa and just really witness the

hard work that these 25 teams put their heart and soul into” say Shonna Lamb, Development

Coordinator with the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation.

With these 26 beautiful trees being created by different local businesses here in Lethbridge,

a lucky bidder gets to take one of these home as they were auctioned off November 19th at

their Gala. As well as a 2014 Harley Davidson Fatboy which was auctioned off last

Wednesday.

This event alone raised over $110,000 dollars last year, this year they hope to increase that

number and all proceeds go to the Chinook Regional Hospital.

All proceeds from the Gala Auction are put toward funds for state-of-the art healthcare

equipment, vital programs and special projects at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
