Bio: My names Is Cole Smith and I am currently in news for the last class of communication arts 2015. It`s saddening to know I’m one of the very last communication arts students, but I hope to make it the best year yet! I came into the program having the dream of one day making it big on the popular sports channel TSN. With that dream in my pocket, right after high school, I came here to Lethbridge College to start my training. I quickly found myself making a ton of friends and learning so much from my instructors that we were thrusted into making a wide array of radio work. Including radio commercials, music I.D`s (music hour identification) and of course on air radio host. Soon after I discovered my passion for news, finding, reporting, and being on television were all things I loved and wanted to do for a career. I hope that anyone that has a passion for news or radio to consider the new DCM program as you will learn so much and have a ton of fun! This may be just the start, but wherever I go from here this is just the beginning of something awesome
