Seasonal influenza vaccines will be available for staff and students on Friday, Nov. 13.
The shots are being offered in room CE 1370 from 9 a.m. – noon and 1 – 3 p.m.
Lethbridge College communications specialist Gwen Rosentreter said the government initially allocated just enough vaccines for the nursing students, who deal with sick people on a regular basis, which is the reason for the delay.
The time and place for next week’s clinics is yet to be determined, however Rosentreter says she hopes to have an update emailed out as soon as possible.
The vaccines are for regular influenza only, not H1N1.
