My top 10 reasons I want it to be summer, NOW.
10. I am so white right now, I need some lovin’ and kissin’ from the sun.
9. I hate getting into a cold car in the morning and it not warming up until I actually get to school.
8. I miss outdoor barabecues.
7. I want to drive with my windows down and play my music loud.
6. I want to drive through the beautiful mountains going to Montana.
5. I love the smell of sunscreen.
4. I want to be surfing behind my boat, now!
3. I want to be swimming in Flathead Lake, now!
2. I don’t want to have to worry about icy roads or getting stuck in the snow.
1. I want to travel somewhere…like…South America, maybe Spain or Italy!

I am pretty sure the reason I want summer so bad right now is because the past two Februaries I have been somewhere in Asia. This year it doesn’t look like I will be going, so sad.
Plus, I am way happier in the summer time when I get to bask in the sun and soak up all that Vitamin D.
Did you know that three per cent of Canadians suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is basically being depressed when the number of hours of sunlight decreases; winter time.
This information is from the Canadian Mental Health Association that also says that 11 per cent of people who suffer from a major depression are likely to develop SAD. In places like Asia (that’s where I should be right now) where the hours of sunlight aren’t so drastic, less than 0.9 per cent of the people are affected by SAD.
