The Lethbridge College Kodiaks were recognized for their athletic ability on Friday with an overwhelming eight ACAC athletes being named all-stars.
Basketball had the five players being chosen, three from the women’s team and two from the men’s team.
In men’s basketball, guard and captain Logan Mendenhall was named to the ACAC’s south division men’s basketball team while guard Josh Watson was named to the second team.
In women’s basketball, guard Paige Bowman and forward Anne Mercer were named to the ACAC’s south division women’s team, while guard Kayla Lambert was selected for the second team.
Volleyball had three players getting the nod as all-stars and all of them were from the men’s team.
Middle Joel Colter was selected to the ACAC all-conference first team, while setter Mike Hawkins and left side Jeff Marthaller were both named to the second team.
The eight Kodiak selections trailed only Mount Royal University and tied the Kodiaks with SAIT and Red Deer College for all-stars selected.
