Feathered friends

Feathers flocked together at the Exhibition Grounds this past weekend, Sarah Redekop reports.

The Wildlife Festival over the weekend brought awareness to Lethbridge. The Canadian Raptor Conservancy brought in live raptors for the community to interact with. Demonstrations were put on throughout Saturday and Sunday educating southern Albertans on their native birds. Falconer, Bob Smirfitt, says when people can be up close and personal with the birds, they are more likely to be conscious of protecting their environment. The festival will stop in various cities throughout Canada.
