It is always common for people to get sick around the beginning of the school year and this year once again did not fail.
Students and faculty around the college have been blowing their noses, coughing and sputtering for a few weeks now.
Health Centre assistant Peggy Cockerill says lately there have been a few students coming in with colds, more than normal. There is a nasty flu going around and it seems like some students are getting hit more than others.
Everyone needs to make sure they are washing their hands regularly and staying out of contact with people who are already sick to help avoid spreading germs.
Flu shots are available to the Lethbridge community so students can go out and get their shots instead of risking getting sick.
