Former college admin child porn case adjourned until October

A former Lethbridge College vice-president facing child pornography charges has had his case adjourned again.

In court on Sept. 16, an agent for Balfour Der, the Calgary defence lawyer representing 64-year-old Richard Buis, requested the case be adjourned to Oct. 21.

Buis faces charges of possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography in connection with the use of college-owned computers.

Buis was charged after a three-month police investigation.

Buis, who had been vice-president of corporate services at the college, resigned from the institution in April. He also resigned as president of the Lethbridge Exhibition.
