Full table, stuffed stomachs

Turkey and stuffing are what are on the minds of many people this coming weekend with Thanksgiving.

The fall-coloured trees and the cool crisp air are painted in season and ready for this year’s holiday.

The halls will be bare the next couple of days with students from Lethbridge College leaving home for the festivities.

For students and individuals around the community who have nothing going on, there are events going on throughout the weekend that they can attend.

The Lethbridge Soup Kitchen Association is having a turkey dinner at noon on Monday, Oct 11 for those who do not have a home to go to for the holiday.

The Lethbridge Lodge is presenting a Thanksgiving turkey dinner and a dance on Saturday, Oct 9. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the event will go until midnight. For more information on this event call 403-360-1685.

This weekend will be a ‘full’ one so get out and enjoy yourself this Thanksgiving.
