Lethbridge’s elected Councillors may soon be working full time.
The City Of Lethbridge’s population is nearing one-hundred-thousand.
City Council passed a resolution this week to look into whether or not our representatives should be mandated to work a regular, full time schedule.
Bridget Mearns, City Of Lethbridge Councillor, says she introduced the idea of a citizen panel for the issue because there’s simply too much work to be done in too little time.
Mearns says the citizen panel hopes to gather information and community response until sometime in 2016
