Fun Survives at Creepy Hollow

The Warner Haunted Mansion is open for business just in time for Halloween and new additions to the property are making patrons scream with excitement.

Previously known as the Stirling Haunted Mansion, it has been operated by the Reimer family for 15 years.

Now named Creepy Hollow, the business moved due to a lack of space four years ago.

One of the owners Glory Reimer said moving was necessary for the new ideas they have for the village, railroad and haunted house.

“We felt like we outgrew our little village and we needed somewhere bigger to expand,” Said Reimer, “there are some features in the original one, but we don’t have those quite yet.”

The new site is 20 acres and according to Reimer, they have many new ideas to make Creepy Hollow bigger and better.

“The imagination is unlimited, but the space is limited.”

The establishment is also home to a permanent maze, campground, monster hall and mini-railway.

The monster hall is also used for murder mystery nights that are hosted upon request and the mini railway is currently under construction.

The family’s goal for the mini railway is for it to be modeled after an 1800’s steam train.

In addition, Reimer said that she misses what otherworldly experiences customers used to have at the old location.

“People would get back to me and say one of your members looked like they didn’t quite fit in and it was never one of my members.”

A patron of Creepy Hollow Rowan White said the location was innovative and creative.

“it is really well put together. The staging was really fun but still terrifying. I loved it,” Said White.

In October they are offering fright nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 pm to 10 pm.
