The women’s Kodiak soccer team has made it to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) championships for the first time in eight years.
“The girls deserve a lot of recognition…it’s all about them,” says Todd Caughlin, manager of athletics, residence and PE operations at the Lethbridge College. “They dedicated themselves to the goal of qualifying for the ACAC, and found themselves in a must-win situation. They were really able to step up and take care of business.”
With a 5-0 win against the Old’s College Broncos, the team will now head to Edmonton today to face Concordia at NAIT. The game can be seen live on the Sportscanadatv website and will be streamed on campus at noon.
