Hurricanes struggle at home during weekend games at Enmax Centre

No matter how it happens, two straight losses on home ice hurts.
The Hurricanes gave up a 2-1 lead in the third period of Friday’s shootout loss of 3-2 against last place Regina.

Also, the Hurricanes were outclassed by the division-leading Saskatoon Blades 4-0 on Saturday night.
If there was one constant throughout both losses it was the Hurricanes lack of scoring with the man advantage. The Lethbridge power play has struggled recently, not scoring a single goal in the last six games.
It’s not all bad news though for the Hurricanes as they sit only three points back of Kootenay for the second spot in the division.
They will look for a measure of revenge tonight as they pay a trip to Regina, before continuing on to play Saskatoon on Oct. 22 and Prince Albert on Oct. 23.
The Hurricanes next home game is against the Vancouver Giants on Oct. 27.
