Kodiaks Soccer season is almost over

So the soccer season is coming to an end. With only two games left this coming weekend, the Kodiaks are hoping for a great finish.

The men are currently four and four and the women are one and seven. The men need a win against SAIT on Saturday to qualify for provincials.

So far the men have had quite a season. They started off with two home game wins.

Since then they keep going back and forth, a win then a loss. They have already played SAIT once this season when they lost 3-0.

This time around they are playing SAIT in Lethbridge, on their home turf. I think they can do it!

The women have had a tough season. They have played some great teams.

Half of the women’s games have only been lost by a single goal. The women have worked hard and showed they are not about to give up.

Their win was against Lakeland College last weekend with an impressive score of 5-2. I was told they played awesome all weekend. They lost to Red Deer College last weekend by only one point.

The women started off with a rough season, but have made a great comeback. There is no chance for provincials, but I think they will go out with a bang this weekend.

Come out and watch the Kodiaks last home game on Saturday, Oct 22 with the women at noon and the men at 2 p.m.
