Kodiaks soccer team plays hard to end the season

Soccer season has come to a close for the Lethbridge College Kodiak teams with only the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference playoffs left

The women’s Kodiaks played a hard home game this past Saturday against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers, but lost to the Rattlers 2-0.
In the end, the women’s Kodiak team finished with a record of 4-5-1 to finish out of the playoffs this season.
The men’s Kodiaks were pleased with their 1-0 win against the Rattlers.
Men’s coach Joe Mauro told the media they criticized the effort and the passion early on but over the past few weeks this has been a team he is really proud of.
The men’s team missed the playoffs with a 3-6-1 record.
Even though Saturday’s game was their last one of the season, fans could tell the Kodiaks played their best.
