What is Adopt a Family? Every year during the holidays the Lethbridge College Student Association has Christmas Hampers for students with families to provide for. The families are adopted not only by different program in the college but also churches and other organizations around town.
The Christmas Hampers include one month’s of food and a few gifts for every family member. All the names of the applicants are kept confidential.
Angela Fretts Administration Assistant for the LCSA says this year 21 families have been added to the list. This program is only offered to LC students to help make their life a little easier.
