Lethbridge College helps in fight against fentanyl overdoses

A highly potent street drug is being tackled head on at Lethbridge College, Meagan Williams has the story.

College Health Services recently rolled out training in how to use an opioid anti-dote kit. Naloxone is a drug that can reverse the effects of opioids including the deadly drug fentanyl. Registered nurse Harmoni Jones hopes that by providing access to naloxone training in conjunction with local addiction support agency, Arches, it can curb the number of overdoses in the area.
