Lethbridge College hosts Challenger Tour squash tournament

Some of the best squash players in the world came to Lethbridge College over the weekend.

The college hosted the annual Lethbridge Pro-Am, a stop on the Professional Squash Association’s Challenger Tour.

Ryan Boorsma of the Lethbridge Squash Association says the tournament’s purse attracted some of the best players in the world.

Mohamed Elsherbini took home the title on Sunday night after coming in as the sixth-seeded player, claiming a $1,900 prize in the process.

The LSA announced the tournament will be returning for a third year in 2020.
