Making some noise to end the stigma surrounding mental health

Lethbridge College Kodiaks have teamed up with the ACAC to make some noise for mental health this Thursday.

The Make Some Noise for Mental Health campaign involves student-athletes to encourage open-mindedness for students.

Anna Schwark, Kodiaks women’s volleyball coach, says since athletes are known as “jocks,” people think they can’t be sensitive.

The Make Some Noise event will take place this Thursday at noon with pep rally in centre core and finishing off that night with the Kodiaks volleyball team’s battling the Ambrose Lions.

The women play at six with the men to follow.
