Lucky Fort Macleod residence receives a fresh start

One southern Alberta man took a chance at a contest he thought he had little chance of winning. Turns out, fate was on his side when was awarded with an opportunity that would change his life. Tawnya Plain Eagle looks into the life of the winner of Lethbridge College’s Extreme Career Makeover 2.

This Loving father, hard worker, and community volunteer has spent 16 years of his life building trusses for a company in Fort Macleod.

In a labour intensive position for many years, Cody Grey felt like the job was taking a toll in his physical health.

“I’m left with limited choices, either find another job like that or expand my horizons and get an education,” say’s Gray.

At his wife’s constant prodding, Grey applied for Lethbridge College’s Extreme Career Makeover 2 contest which he won.
