Men’s volleyball strive for consistency

Kodiaks men’s volleyball team lost their B.C. exhibition game 4-1.

The team played in Fernie on Sept. 23 against the College of the Rockies team from Cranbrook.

When asked, coach Ian Bennett said he wasn’t too worried over the final outcome.

“As each set went on, the play got better and better,” said Bennett.

Technically the team lost but as an exhibition game it will have no effect on the season.

The only challenge the team faced was getting used to playing with each other.

Bennett wants to work on the team’s consistency.

“We made errors in every aspect.”

Bennett knows the team has the talent and the skill to play a good game, it just has to work on maintaining that skill for the duration of a game.

The team plays it’s first season home game Oct. 21 at 8 p.m.
