Mindful Meditation

Busy schedules and stress can cause us to lose touch with the present moment. One local group is learning how to refocus thier thoughts to appreciate life in a new way. Sarah Redekop has more.

Paying attention to the present is how one local group is coming together to channel their thoughts. Mindful Meditation meets every Wednesday morning at the Community of Christ Church to improve their self-awareness through meditation and discussion. Organizer, Dr. Rachael Crowder says being more present in the moment can help with stress relief. The group is open to the public and welcomes newcomers. The session runs weekly from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
