New library opens in West Lethbridge

Officially called the Crossings Branch, the new Westside library recently opened and is located at the top of Whoop-Up Drive, across from Copperwood.

The branch is situated between Chinook High School and Catholic Central (West Campus) High School.

Because of its location and high student population on the Westside, the library features sections like Young Adult and DVDs.

Also unique to the branch are its gaming stations, where patrons can pick up the latest video games and give them a try.

The new branch has over 40,000 items in circulation to date and that number is sure to increase over the next few months.

The branch also has three separate meeting rooms available for booking with each room having its own flat-screen television.

For more information contact the crossings branch at 403-320-4037.
