As you’re leaving that Christmas party, you stagger out the door and fumble around in your pocket for your car keys.
Let’s face it, you’ve had way too much eggnog and are in no condition to drive, what are your options?
It’s one of the busiest – and most dangerous – times of the year to be on the road, and you want to get home safely.
You could take a cab or have a friend pick you up, but that means leaving your vehicle and you have to work early enough the next morning as it is.
The University of Lethbridge has opened up the Operation Red Nose campaign for the season.
Red Nose is a designated driver program in which a volunteer will come to your location and drive you and your vehicle home.
There is no charge to use the service but you are welcomed to donate money to the Pronghorn athletics, as many of the volunteers are Pronghorn athletes.
This service is opened every weekend in December (not including Christmas day).
To catch a ride after a hard night of partying, call 403-320-4155.
Get yourself, your friends, and everyone else on the road home safely this holiday season.
