Organ donor signups have surged in several provinces in response to recent tragedy. Humboldt Broncos player, Logan Boulet donated his organs to six patients following the tragic bus collision that killed him and 14 others in Saskatchewan. Organ donor advocate, Tracey Halladay is currently on the list to receive a kidney transplant. She says despite the increase in donors, the wait times are far too long.
Those interested in donating are encouraged to visit a local registry office to register consent for organ donation.
