Practice makes perfect for LC soccer Kodiaks over weekend

Practice and having fun are what is on the minds of the Lethbridge College men’s and women’s soccer teams as they played a couple eventful games this past weekend.
Saturday started off good when the men won 2-1 against Lakeland College during their game in Vermilion.

It was not the prettiest game, Coach Joe Mauro told the media. Sunday’s game in Red Deer left the men’s team to a 3-1 loss against Red Deer College.
With lots of practice the men will be playing a home game against SAIT on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The women’s soccer team is showing great improvement during Saturday’s game with a 5-0 win against Lakeland College.
Though Sunday’s game did not turn out as good with a 3-1 loss against Red Deer College the women are preparing themselves for the game against SAIT which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Lethbridge College.
