Racing in a new direction

An athlete in Lethbridge is not letting his dreams out of his sight. Sarah Redekop has the story.

A Lethbridge athlete’s declining of vision is racing him in new directions. Athlete, Lowell Taylor, has been competing in Triathlons for many years. Taylor has been losing his vision his whole life. Last year he changed his focus and has began training to compete on a tandem bicycle. He is piloted by his teammate Mark MacDonald. MacDonald says Taylor is an inspiring athlete who is determined to accomplish his dreams. The two have been training to compete in the Rio Paralympic Games this summer.
