The dead are walking again at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Continuing on Thursday, the Galt Museum is hosting Flashlight Cemetery Tours between 8 – 10 p.m..
The 50-minute tour with Belinda Crowson, museum educator, will take you back to experience the stories of Lethbridge’s early citizens.
Crowson tells stories of fires, suicide, accidents, disease and murder; a history lesson you would never learn in school.
“This tour chilled me to my bones and I don’t typically scare easy,” said Lethbridge College student Britney Daunais.
“It was a great Halloween activity. I learned a lot of great Lethbridge history while having fun and being spooked.”
The Galt asks anyone interested in going to get his or her tickets as soon as possible as the program often sells out.
Participants are advised to dress warmly, bring a flashlight, good walking shoes; and it is highly suggested to bring someone to hold hands with.
Tickets to this spooky event are $5 or $4 for annual pass holders. They are available at the Galt Museum Store.
All ticket holders are asked to meet at the gates of St. Patrick’s Cemetery on the far west end of 6 Ave, North. For anymore information visit the Galt website at www.galtmuseum.com
