Wouldn’t it be nice if people were able to go to a post-secondary institution, live on their own, and not have to work and pay bills?
The sad reality is that those days just don’t exist. Nowadays, almost all the students I know are working part-time along with taking full-time studies.
The important thing to consider when working and going to school is that good time management is essential to success.
If it’s possible, start working on assignments as soon as they’re assigned. The faster those assignments get completed, the less stress is on your mind.
Poor time management, however, can lead to a lot more serious matters than just having bad grades. Increased stress and anxiety can lead to a poor diet, cranky moods and hospital visits.
Working at a job that allows for the student to determine how many hours to work is also highly recommended. Flexibility in hours can help lessen the pressure of school.
Of course, winning the lottery is the easiest way to alleviate the stress of school, but if that doesn’t happen, good time management is best way to go.
