Love in Lethbridge; Valentine’s Day Celebrations

Love is in the air, men are panicking and women are looking for anything red or pink; Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. With only a few days left and possibly a tight budget, the question begs as to just what to do for the special day?

Here within the city you can choose from any restaurant for a fancy meal on the town or some of the events happening. If you’re more a sports fan try the Hurricanes Valentine’s Night. Or perhaps you’d rather spend the evening indoor.

With a variety of businesses around the city and events, it is no easy task to decide on just one place to go. Perhaps you and your loved one are more the type to celebrate a day early or beat the rush the day after. The German Canadian Club of Lethbridge plays host to Valentines/Masquerade Dinner and Dance Saturday.

With around 16 million couples in private households over the age of 15 in Canada in 2011, there will certainly be many people out and about for February 14th according to Statistics Canada. However, the balance is almost even with under 12 thousand non-couples age 15 and over in Canada also in 2011.

Even if you are one of the 12 thousand hitting it solo for Valentine’s Day, why not celebrate the love of those around you with friends and family.

So no matter how you choose to spend your day, Lethbridge hosts a variety of options. Whether it’s indoors or out on the town, single or coupled celebrate the day with loved ones.
