The Occupation hits Lethbridge

Approximately 100 citizens march through downtown Lethbridge as part of the “Occupy Lethbridge” protest held on Saturday, Oct. 15.

 

Over 100 citizens marched through downtown Lethbridge as part of the protest, a continuation of the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York. The protests are meant to decry corporate greed that has led to an inequality of wealth.  

 

The citizens began their walk at city hall, before marching downtown, finally culminating at Lethbridge MP Jim Hillyer’s office.

Hillyer was on hand to hear the concerns of the citizens.
