Time to say goodbye to ‘mister nice guy’

Anonymous woman, “I want a nice guy.”  If I hear that line one more time, I’m going to burst a blood vessel.

If you’re a guy who’s buying that message, stop. Never believe a woman is telling the truth when it comes to “thinking” about what she wants. Women don’t respond logically, they respond by how you make them feel. Show me the nice guy and I’ll show you the man she calls late at night for a shoulder to cry on when she’s having troubles in her relationship.

Show me a confident guy with an edge that has several flaws to compliment just one endearing quality and I’ll show you the guy she’s swooning after. If you are a gentleman and have perfect manners and no major flaws; my advice is to pretend you have flaws in your character.

Women love repair products as much as they love that new shade of eyeliner, whether they will consciously admit it or not. When you do have her following your lead, don’t fall into the trap of changing your style and starting to follow her rules or show those qualities.

Women don’t want that and they get bored when Mr. Broken is in pristine condition. Give her hints of improvement, but never, ever, play by her rules  or your ship will sail to stormy waters as she jumps to the next guy who makes her emotions go nutty.

You can’t listen to women tell you they want a nice guy because when you’re conversing with her, she won’t give you her number based on you saying please and thank-you, but she will give you those digits if you “shocked” her emotions. Nice guys fail to push those buttons. Some of Hollywoods leading men can be classified as hostile.

Ari Gold from Entourage, Dr. House, along with several others make the heartbeats of women everywhere go crazy. Each of these leading men share at least one really endearing quality. Ari Gold, the loud mouth adolescent is great at his job, but what makes the women really go crazy is that he is a big softy and a great father to his children. House is a terrible person to be honest, but he truly cares about the well being of his patients and that works. Women everywhere are telling you what they really want, so stop listening to their words and let their actions be music to your ears.
