Whitehead gets ACAC all-time kills record

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks men’s volleyball team remained unbeaten this weekend, while Dax Whitehead etched his name into the ACAC record book.

Whitehead now holds the ACAC all-time kills record at 1,109 kills, all as a Kodiak.

Head Coach, Greg Gibos, says Whitehead has been an integral player to the team and the community.

“He coached club volleyball in the city for two years, he’s worked with our youth, he’s worked Kodiak camps. If you want to talk about someone who does it all for the program, it’s Dax.”

You can catch Whitehead and the Kodiaks back in action this week for a home and home with the Ambrose Lions.

The games are Thursday night at 8 p.m. in the Val Matteotti gym here in Lethbridge and Saturday they hit the road for a match in Calgary at Ambrose University.
