Anti-abortion protest comes to Lethbridge College

Tempers flared among students as members of the Abortion Awareness Project of Lethbridge set up a display in Centre Core on Monday afternoon, Aaron Haugen reports.

The protesters were displaying controversial images from the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform’s Genocide Awareness Project.

Massage Therapy student Amanda Scott says she objects to the protesters displaying the images so close to the college’s daycare.

A statement released by the college stated neither the school or the Students’ Association were given prior notice of the protest.
