Lethbridge College announces Wider Horizons speaker series

Lethbridge College announced a speaker series on Friday, bringing a big name as its first guest.

The Wider Horizons: An evening with… speaker series is set to host Former U.S. presidential speechwriter David Frum on April 3, to launch the annual program.

Lethbridge College president and CEO, Paula Burns, says the series will highlight the school’s academic prowess.

“We can really elevate some of the academic rigours that our college provides. We are a college that has a vast number of programs that are supporting students to go on to lots of different careers.”

The series is being made possible by a $50,000 donation from local businessman and entrepreneur Bruce McKillop.

Tickets are on sale now on Lethbridge College’s website, priced at $25 for the public and $20 for students and alumni.
