Merging Realities set to showcase multiple perspectives

Lethbridge College is set to host an exciting Virtual Reality related event on April 26 featuring some of the world’s best minds from around the world.

The college is teaming up with the Virtual Reality Augmented Reality Association (VRARA) for Merging Realities to host the first full-day conference hosting fully in VR.

Multiple speakers will be providing their perspectives on VR at this year’s event and the day will get underway with two keynote speakers.

Among those who will be speaking at this year’s event will be president and CEO of Vizworx Jeff Lafrenz.

He says this event will be a great way to showcase what VR has to offer.

“With the way that VR is evolving, this event will be a tremendous opportunity for people to learn about what’s being done with VR, and what could potentially be next.”

Among companies representing this event will be Mammoth VR, Google, Method Visual and many more.

Lafrenz says the diversity will really help the event go a long way.

“It’s great that multiple people will be there to share both their thoughts and ideas on the VR world. Everyone has something new to share and to offer.”

The event will take place on April 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. and approximately 200 people are expected to attend. For more information and to register click here: lethbridgecollege.ca/mr
