Beyoncé: god or woman?

Beyoncé is overrated.

There I said it.

Is she talented? No doubt, but I don’t understand all the love, she’s just another pop star.

I know people on the internet automatically hate me just because I said that, but it’s true.

She’s just a singer, but she’s treated like she’s a god and it doesn’t matter what she does because her fan base will love it no matter what.

I just don’t understand it.

Adele wins Record of the Year then proceeds to apologize to the audience and say Beyoncé should have won.

Why?  Why should the award be given to Beyoncé and why does Adele go on stage and basically give the award to her?

That’s like the Pats winning the Superbowl and then Tom Brady saying the Falcons should get the trophy because they were also participating in the game.

Take the win. Thank Beyoncé all you want, but to basically give her the award is absurd.

The same thing happened when Kanye ran on stage to tell everyone Beyoncé was better when Taylor Swift won her video of the year.

She did win the Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary album though and then proceeds to read her speech off a gold card, is this real life?

Maybe it’s just me, but it came off as so self-absorbed. It was like the whole night was a tribute to her and she needed everyone to know that.

And let’s be honest, her Grammy performance was bad. I don’t know how people are still saying it was good.

But music is subjective so people who like Beyoncé and everything she does are entitled to their opinion, but at the same time anytime somebody says they don’t like Beyoncé people look at you like you just insulted their mother.

Speaking of mothers, Beyoncé herself is pregnant with twins and it’s like she’s the first to ever be pregnant.

I’m all for celebrating having children, but it’s like Beyoncé should be showered with praise because she’s carrying children and continuing to work.

Has no other woman ever done this?

Of course they have, but are they Beyoncé? No.

Now that the “Beyhive” is good and rattled, send hate to @ColeParkinson4.
