Students applied classrooms knowledge in a mock scenario

Emergency crews, car crashes and media are what appeared at the Lethbridge College Saturday morning. Students where faced with real-life situations that involved a mock car crash and one fatality. DCM student Katelyn Wilson is using this experience as a way to prep herself before she begins her practicum next month. She says this is something she is not use to doing on a daily basis.

“It’s exciting, it’s still a lot to process because it’s fast paced and there is a lot going on,” she said.

Emergency crews, criminal justice, EMT and media students were all involved in the scenario. Tawnya Plain Eagle for Kodiak News.
