For many years, hunting and fishing has become a way of life for most people living in small towns. Not having the luxury of shopping malls and theatre, many people often use their free time to enjoy the wilderness and connect with the land. Tawnya Plain Eagle has more.
Growing up by these rules, two small-town biologists who double as TV producers stopped in at Lethbridge College to talk to specialist in the Environmental Science program.
Dean Trumbley and his partner Kent Michie spoke to many instructors in the environmental science program to gather more information about wildlife in Canada.
According to Trumbley, Lethbridge College Has one of the best environmental science programs in Canada and they felt it was the perfect place to add more content to their television series Trigger Effect.
“One of the things we felt was really important was to bring an educational component to our hunting show,” says Trumbley.
Lethbridge College will be featured in 33 episodes over the course of season four and season five.
Trigger Effect is currently in the middle of filming season four. It is expected to air this summer on WildTV.
