Kevin Catro was born in Bogota, Colombia. He chose the Digital Communications and Media program because of a Colombian journalist Guillermo Arturo Prieto La Rotta who inspired him. In 2008 he saw him for the first time on television and admired his work uncovering corruption and crimes that were happening in Colombia.
